5-Day/500-Mile Exchange Program
Sometimes even the best cars don’t quite fit into your lifestyle the way you thought they would. We get it and we don’t want you to be stuck with a car you don’t love. That’s where our complimentary Vehicle Exchange Program can help. For eligible vehicles, we promise you’ll either love your new car or we’ll let you swap it out for another one! Within the first five days or 500 miles from date of purchase (whichever comes first) you can return an eligible vehicle to Parkside Auto for an exchange of another eligible vehicle. Please read the full terms and conditions below for program eligibility.
30-Day Price Match Guarantee
Ok, back to that price thing. We price our cars fairly, transparently, and competitively based on several factors, including, but not limited to, the vehicle’s age and mileage, it’s condition, and current market values. We don’t think you’ll find a better deal out there, but if you do, our Price Match promise will help make it right. If you see your vehicle advertised for less on a competitor’s website within 30 days of purchasing it from our dealership, Parkside Auto will credit or refund you the difference in price. Please read the full terms and conditions below for refund eligibility.
5-Day/500-Mile Exchange Program Terms & Conditions
- Vehicle Inspection.
Any vehicle returned under the 5-Day/500-Mile Vehicle Exchange Program will be inspected by the dealer for damage and excessive wear and tear. If non-warranty repairs equal to or greater than $500 have been performed or are necessary because of the customer’s use of the vehicle, the vehicle is not eligible to be returned. If less than $500, the damage repair estimate will be deducted from the credit amount.
- Original Trade-In Vehicle.
If the customer trades in their current vehicle as part of the used vehicle purchase transaction, the trade-in is immediately entered into Parkside Auto’s inventory and will not be exchanged back to the customer.
- Valuation of Trade-In Vehicle.
If the customer trades in their current vehicle as part of the used vehicle purchase transaction, the “Agreed-Upon Trade-in Value” will be used in determining the value to be applied to an equivalent vehicle.
- Additional Credit Approval Required.
Due to the lender’s approval stipulations, an approval on one vehicle does not guarantee an approval on a different vehicle. If the customer elects to do the exchange, an additional credit approval is required. Approval and terms are subject to the consumer’s credit rating, loan to value ratio, debt to income ratio, vehicle condition, and the structure of the original deal with the lender who approved the original loan. Exchanges can only be done if there is a new approval for the customer.
- Exclusions
- Vehicles over 10 years/100,000 miles
- If a customer is unable to be financed on a different vehicle
- Vehicles that have had non-factory aftermarket accessories installed
- Branded titles (e.g., salvage, rebuilt, junk, or flooded history)
- Stipulations of Exchange.
Original purchaser must present the vehicle they wish to exchange in-person to Parkside Auto for inspection within five (5) days of the purchase date or within 500 miles of the mileage at the time of purchase, whichever comes first. The physical exchange must be completed within this time/mileage period. Notification of intent to exchange before five days or 500 miles does not qualify for the exchange. Exchange privileges are non-transferrable and only apply to the original purchaser.
- No Cash Refunds. This is an exchange program only and does not include cash refunds.
30-Day Price Match Guarantee Terms & Conditions
- Claim Submission. Original purchaser must submit the qualifying, lower-priced advertisement by email within 30 days from the date of customer’s used car purchase. The email must be sent to [email protected]. To receive the benefit, the customer may be required to sign a sales contract that reflects the difference in vehicle price. If customer financed the purchase of the used vehicle, the refund may be issued to the lienholder and applied toward customer’s principal loan balance.
- Online advertisements only. Only online advertisements are eligible for the Price Match Guarantee. Examples of forms of advertisements not accepted include, but are not limited to, verbal, handwritten, newspaper, radio, paper, and mail advertisements.
- Geographic limitation. The lower-priced vehicle must be available for sale from a dealer within a 100-mile radius from Parkside Auto.
- Purchase must be completed. To be eligible for a Price Match Guarantee claim, the customer must have completed their Parkside Auto vehicle purchase at the time of the claim, signed all necessary paperwork, and paid all money due to Parkside Auto at the time of submitting the claim.
- Excluded vehicles. The Price Match Guarantee excludes any vehicle with a sales price under $10,000.
- Must be “Apples to Apples” Comparison. The Price Match Guarantee is available only for vehicles of the same year, make, model, and trim that contain the same options, packages, and after-market equipment. The vehicle’s mileage must be within 5,000 miles of the odometer reading on the vehicle you purchased from Parkside Auto, as reflected on your Retail Installment Sales Contract. An advertised vehicle that contains negative prior history different from the vehicle you purchased at Parkside Auto will not be eligible for the Price Match Guarantee. This includes, but is not limited to, prior accidents, frame damage, branded titles (e.g., salvage, junk, or flooded history), rental use, rideshare use, taxi use, reported stolen, lemon-law buybacks and gross-polluters.
- Vehicle must be offered for sale by licensed dealer. To qualify for the Price Match Guarantee, the advertisement reflecting the lower-priced vehicle must be from a motor vehicle dealer licensed by your local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Upon submission of the advertisement, Parkside Auto will reject any advertisement that fails to meet this requirement.
- Advertisements must be unexpired and valid. Only unexpired and valid advertisements are eligible for the Price Match Guarantee. At the time of submission, the advertisement must still be posted on the competing dealer’s website, and the vehicle must still be available for sale.
- Verification of Claims. All requests and advertisements submitted in connection with the Price Match Guarantee are subject to verification by Parkside Auto. Parkside Auto will not accept screenshots or other purported evidence of a lower price that cannot be independently confirmed by Parkside Auto personnel. Parkside Auto will not accept any advertisement that it believes, in its sole discretion, is the result of a printing or other error or is made fraudulently, deceptively, or in bad faith.
- Changes. The terms that are in effect at the time of the customer’s vehicle purchase will determine customer’s eligibility under the Price Match Guarantee. However, Parkside Auto reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify or discontinue the Price Match Guarantee or to restrict its availability without prior notice. The failure by Parkside Auto to enforce any provision of these Terms & Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
- Right to Void. Parkside Auto reserves the right to void the 30-day Price Match Guarantee at any time with a written notice prior to sale.
